LEGALIZATION OF BUSINESS DOCUMENTS:

To conduct business in Equatorial Guinea, you may be required to have your company documents legalized by an EG Embassy abroad. For that, you must mail the original documents (as filed with the proper authority of the jurisdiction where your company is registered) to us for review and due diligence. If approved, we will stamp and sign each document—typically on the bottom corner or back—thereby giving faith that your company is duly registered and in good standing.

Fee: The cost to legalize each document is $100. One document may contain several pages; however, it may still count as a single document. If you wish, you can request an electronic appraisal before sending the originals. Please upload electronic copies of your file in the form below and then send us the original documents by courier. If you include a copy of each document along with the originals, we will legalize those copies as well at no additional charge.

Clarification:

  1. Document: an official record (e.g., Articles of Incorporation or a Certificate of Good Standing). Even if it spans multiple pages, it still counts as one single document, provided it forms a single cohesive record.

  2. File: a collection or group of documents submitted together for review. A file might include multiple documents (each of which could be multiple pages long).

  3. Page: each individual sheet (or side) within a document. A multi-page document is still considered a single document, unless otherwise determined upon review.
